3F, acronym of Formiana Fiberglass Factory, is an entirely private fund company established in June 1998 following the transformation in partnership of a one-man business called “Pelliccia Valerio Fiberglass”, operating in the moulding of Reinforced Plastic Goods since 1985.

Currently the company, part of a Regional Integrated System of Latium navigation called Sirena Association, carries on its main activity in moulding, pre-fitting out, assembling and finishing of luxurious 24 to 30 metre Mega-Yachts’ composite bodies.

In addition to its main activity, 3F also takes care of the realization of prototypes, moulds and models and offers assistance.

3F also confers its know-how in projecting hulls, decks and superstructures according to certification board rules and optimization of sandwiches and laminates according to Lamination Classic Theory.

At present, the commercial sector of the Company is in continuous and increasing evolution. The largest clients, in fact, constantly carry out interesting requests regarding luxurious embarkations, so the demand of glass fibre reinforced plastic bodies is very high.

In order to satisfy these needs, the Company has engaged its greatest productive capacity so as to satisfy the continuously increasing markets needs.
In this scenery, the completion of a very modern productive installation, which extends itself in the South Pontine industrial area with a total surface of 25,000 uncovered square metres, of which about 9,000 square metres in a covered area, has become strategic for the company’s evolution.

In the new establishment, equipped with vanguard machinery, the powerful aspiration and air-conditioning systems allow operating in excellent working conditions at controlled humidity and temperatures.

From this point of view, the Company is provided with a Quality-Environment Management Integrated System and has been certified by the Italian Naval Register ISO 9001:2000; moreover, the same certifying organ has conferred 3F with the precious “Aptitude Certificate for the construction of hulls in Composite Materials”.

Today, thanks to the important investments made, to the prestigious references and to the alluring results obtained, 3F can certainly be enumerated among the most important European Moulding Centres.
